š®š¹ Last night, I finally got to try out Franklinās newest Italian restaurant, Culaccino. Located in the lovely Harpeth Hotel, the restaurantās food and service lived up to its hype. From the champagne (compliments of the house for our celebration!) to the meal, it was all stars above.Ā
šø We started with cocktails. I chose the Make It Fashion because it featured one of my favorite spirits, Cathead Vodka. It paired well with the bread starter, a selection of focaccia and sesame seed bread. For our dipping pleasure there was olive oil and fresh ricotta.Ā
š We followed that with the fried calamari. I rarely meet a calamari I donāt like and this was no exception. In fact, the inclusion of squash and carrots mixed in were an extra treat.
š I chose the Campanele for my entree and was not disappointed. Although, with the bread and the calamari, I barely had room left for dinner.Ā
We didnāt have dessert, but Iāll be back for the tiramisu. š® Who am I kidding? I’ll be back for the whole menu. Ā
